Aape Pohjavirta leads the Masterclass of the inaugural residential meeting held at Aalto Espoo Campus on design as part of the European Incubator for Innovation in Education.

Aape Pohjavirta is a windsurfer with experience in digital media since the late 80’s. He started his career as a trainer and is currently leading the development of a global initiative to revolutionize entrepreneurial training and job creation.
His current project is a continuum of his work where he envisioned and created a global project that used mobile devices to deliver scientifically verified better learning results while making people happier in the process.
Aape has worked in the mobile industry since 1997 in various management roles and has a solid track record of business, product, and technology development including Ympyra, Sendandsee Ltd., Exomi Ltd. (acquired by Real Networks), Gotland Ring Ab, Vineyard Ltd. (formed with F-Secure), C&M Capital, Sofi Securities (acquired by Kaupthing), and Brossco Systems (acquired by Artemis).
